Helicopter Visits La Providencia
A group from Guatemala flew down to visit La Providencia. We were so excited to see the chopper land, climb inside and watch it take off. We also received aerial photos they took as they were leaving.
La Providencia is a Christian community of care for orphans and widows located outside of Siguatepeque, Honduras. La Providencia is still in the construction phase, but hopes to open more homes and programs each year. The community is to consist of 12 family homes, housing 96 orphans, a medical clinic, a school and a mulit-purpose hall. We are blessed by the work the Lord is accomplishing here. Our prayer is found in the Holy Bible, John 12:32, "As the name of the Lord is lifted up, He will draw men unto himself."
